light peach

NARS BLUSH, LUSTER || REVLON PHOTOREADY CREAM BLUSH, PINCHED || REVLON MATTE BALMS STAIN, MISCHIEVOUS + COMPLEX

currently on play: joni mitchell, blue

I know, it's winter, but peach is my default colour through every season. It's such a nice colour to slap on the face on lighter days and suits so many skin tones. This post idea came after I layered two very lightly pigmented blushes and it's now become one of my favourite go to combos. The first layer is the Revlon Photoready blush in Pinched which is such a lovely light peach wash on it's own. The pigmentation isn't there so it's best to layer up, which makes it completely fool proof for pale girls but is unfortunately unlikely to turn up on tan and deeper skin tones. I've had Nars Blusher in Luster for so long but I never fell in love with it despite the hype. When I got my hands on Pinched, I knew it'd be the perfect combo. Luster pulls quite pink on me despite the orange tones in the pan, but in this combo, the warmth comes through and with the bonus a sheeny finish, purrty.

I didn't realise I had matched the cheeks to the lips till after so hence no extra photo here! *slaps forehead* It was another duo with two Revlon's Matte Balm stains in Mischievous and Complex on top. Mischevious is sometimes too strong for the lip product noob that I am, so Complex brings the colour down whilst still maintaining the yep, you guessed it, the peach tones.  Are you sick of the word peach yet? *sheepish grin*
