the natural days

TOOFACED NATURAL EYE PALETTE || MAC 217 || BDELLIUM TOOLS 776 BRUSH

I've had the Toofaced Natural Eye Palette in my arsenal for quite sometime now and honestly speaking, I hadn't made much of a dent in it. I don't know what it is about pre-made palettes, but they kerfuffle me. It takes me awhile to really come around and see how I can use it, as opposed to my MAC palette which I know so well because I picked the colours out myself. But finally in the last few weeks, I think I get it. I really love palette now and is becoming a staple in my stash.  It's been repackaged now and while I like the old, ruddy cardboard package more I think the upgraded version has a better colour selection. In saying that, this palette already does have everything I need in one place, a medium matte neutral brown for blending, a dark shade for lining the lids on non-eyeliner days, a good balance between cool and warm tones and pretty shimmers to make the lids look well, pretty. This was an uber-natural day when I took this shot, just layering the rosey tinted 'push up' over 'velvet revolver' which tones down the shimmer, and 'sexpresso' to line the lids. Done.
